What is HP AviStart?
HP AviStart is a unique product of the co-processing of soya and yeast. This highly digestible product is very low in anti-nutritional factors (ANFs) and is an excellent protein source for poultry (pre-) starters.

In addition, HP AviStart contains non-fermentative all natural yeast culture components and has an enhanced phosphor-bioavailability.

Why use HP AviStart?
The digestive and nutritional requirements of young chicks are far different than the requirements of older broilers. The highly digestible protein in HP AviStart helps give chicks the very best start.

What is the difference between HP AviStart and traditional soyabean?
HP AviStart, a unique protein source, is derived from soyabeans and yeast. Compared to standard soya proteins, it contains a very low level of the anti-nutritional factors that limit the absorption of feed nutrients. Easy digestibility ensures that the chicks gain full benefit from the product’s high level of essential amino acids.

Is HP AviStart GMO?
No, HP AviStart is not produced from genetically modified soya. Therefore, it’s non-GMO.

Are there any poultry trials of HP AviStart?
Yes, there are. One example would be that a prominent US feed producer conducted a broiler trial with HP AviStart in which soya bean meal in the control group’s prestarter was replaced with 5% HP AviStart in the starter feed. The diets were corrected for nutrient levels and the test diet was fed for 10 days post hatching.

Conclusions:
• Broilers fed with 5% HP AviStart in the prestarter experienced an improved daily gain, mortality and FCR.
• Replacing soya bean meal with 5% HP AviStart proved economic benefit of 7 times (in the US)/10 times (in Europe) when local meat prices and feed costs were factored in.
